Airport baggage handler

Location: airport in Hannover (Germany)

A baggage handler at Hanover Airport is responsible for the efficient and safe handling of baggage and passenger cargo. His tasks include loading and unloading baggage from planes, sorting and transporting baggage to the appropriate receiving belts, and ensuring that bags reach their proper destinations. The baggage handler must also follow strict safety and handling procedures. The job requires good physical condition, the ability to work as part of a team and the ability to react quickly in a dynamic airport environment.

Requirements and responsibilities:

• Knowledge of German (A2) and communicative English .
• Driving license cat B + own car.
• Loading and sorting of baggage/goods.
• Work on the tarmac and in the check-in hall.

• Salary: 1650 euros net + bonuses.
• Bonus for Sunday work and night shift .
• Shift work (70% night work). 
• Accommodation in a double room paid for by the employer.
